Capstone Foster Care is an independent foster care provider based in the South West.  Due to growth, a vacancy has arisen for a part-time administrator/ support worker to support the social workers in the Ringwood office.  This role will be spilt between administration and intervention work with our foster carers and their foster children. The administration role will involve preparing paperwork and chasing for meetings, taking minutes and recording the outcomes electronically. The second part of the role will involve supporting our foster children and carers.

The successful applicant will be organised and methodical with an eye for detail.  They will have both, office administration experience and working with either, children or adults in the care system. An in-depth knowledge of MS Office is essential, along with a willingness to learn and the ability to be flexible and adapt to change.  The use of a car is essential as visits to our foster carers and children are required. • Contributing to the production of technical reports and liaising with the GIS department to ensure the production of high quality charts and drawings.

The ideal candidate will be highly computer literate and have a degree in hydrography or a related marine science discipline. Knowledge of geophysical survey techniques would also be advantageous.
