We are now recruiting for a Sales Consultant to maximise the revenue for Worthing Coaches holiday and excursion programmes through proactively converting enquiries into bookings. This is a part time position, ideally 25 hours a week and over 5 days. Times are flexible and can be discussed at interview stage.

As part of the Sales and Marketing Team, key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the sales and delivery processes by ensuring all administration and communications are completed and delivered accurately and on time.
• Generation of bookings by converting enquiries into sales
• Managing customer bookings both via the telephone and face to face within the retail premises
• Ensuring the booking system is updated immediately with accurate and full details
• Participate in outbound calling programmes to develop new business opportunities and/or customer service and retention

With excellent customer service and administration skills you will be a self-starter with the ability to use your own initiative. Experience of dealing with customers over the telephone and face to face is essential, sales generation experience is a distinct advantage.  You will be a team player and have the ability to form effective and long-lasting business relationships.

Salary – £8.10 per hour

EMU Limited is a specialist marine environmental and survey company.  A position is now available for an Assistant Benthic Ecologist to join the experienced benthic laboratory team. The team supports EMU’s ecological survey department in addition to receiving work from external clients.

The position will involve baseline processing duties involved with the extraction of infauna and epifauna from marine sediment samples. Additional duties may involve biomass, data entry and identification of marine species. All applicants will be expected to work to strict internal and external quality standards. The post is primarily laboratory based, at our Trafalgar Wharf site in Portchester. However, there may be opportunities for fieldwork in support of EMU’s ecological survey team. 

We are seeking to employ at the graduate / career starter level. A graduate of marine biology or similar biological, marine or environmental discipline is preferable. Previous experience of processing marine grabs, cores or trawls would be advantageous.
